Friends and family have taken over the waiting room at St Pats in Missoula, every night we pack up all our stuff only to move in again the next morning. Jess sure is loved!
Good Morning: Just love the weekend pictures of everyone -- looks like fun! We're thrilled that Jess, and family, will soon be on their way to Denver, Dorcey speaks very highly of their facility and staff. I understand that Lindsey will be coming to Dillon to be part of a Fundraiser meeting -- I'm planning to attend. As we think about the move to Denver and how that will take you away from your friends and family, I do hope this blog will tie you back in to all of us. I wish I knew someone in Denver that could connect with Emily - hope someone in your family has such a connection. Perhaps you could post the address of the Denver facility on your blog so we can keep those 'cards and letters' coming. We're praying for all of you daily. I hope your day is peaceful. Love, Bev and Poncho
It is so great to see all of your friends and the support group you have there with you. May God be with you as you prepare for the move to Denver for rehab. Love ya! -Cousin Hannah
Danny passed on the news of your accident, I am so sorry for your misfortune. I am not surprised to see that you all seem in good spirits and all of the support you are receiving. If there is anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask. Best of luck in Denver Jess, I will be thinking about you - god bless!!!
Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you and pulling for you every day. I know that you and Emily and your family are going to find a way to keep going. And a happy belated birthday to your beautiful daughter! I hope I get to meet her and see you all soon. Hang in there.
Our thoughts and prayers have been with you since we found out ... I am not surprised to see all of your smiling faces in the midst of these hard times. It is so great to see such blessed support around you. I wish we could get away to express our well wishes in person. May God continue to be really BIG in your lives as you forge ahead with the rehab process. We'll keep you in the front of our thoughts and prayers for your move to Denver.
I'm sorry to hear about your accident. It's nice to see all the support you have from friends and family. I just took a PT course this weekend taught by a amazing man who has a complete T4 spinal cord injury. It's hard to include in a short blog, but I learned an entirely new patient's perspective about the body and the rehab experience. It will totally change how I practice PT and live in my own body. If you are interested, you can look on his website: www.matthewsanford.com. There is also info on his book "Waking". He may be a good resource.
It's great to hear you are accepted to Craig! I wish you the best with each step of your rehab. Please let me know if I can do anything, and say hi to the Dillon crew for me. Stay Positive. Brian Jonart. brianjonart@hotmail.com

Fundraiser/Gathering -January 2, 2009 We have set a date of January 2, 2009 to hold a Fundraiser/Gathering for Jess and Emily. The event will start at 6:00pm at the WMC Arena and volunteers from the community will be selling tickets shortly. We will be hosting a silent and live auction as well as a 50/50. This is an opportunity to socialize, share stories about Jess and Emily and hopefully raise a little money for them. If you would like to volunteer or just have questions, please email me at Lindsey.Alberi@yahoo.com. I hope you can all make it!
Jesse Alberi Special Needs Trust I know many people would like to participate in the gathering but are unable to make it or live in another state. If you would still like to help support Jess and Emily, there has been a trust set up for them. All donations would need to be made out to Jesse Alberi Special Needs Trust You can donate money into the Trust at The State Bank in Dillon or you can mail a check to Dave Alberi 1540 East Glendale Dillon, Mt 59725
The support from friends and family has been wonderful and we are so thankful. If you can make the gathering on January 2nd, we would love to see you and share our love and thanks with everyone!
Jess has been accepted to Craig Institute in Denver! Please see website for info
