Briley Birthday Party

Briley turns one! Emily and her mother hold a cupcake while everyone sings Happy Birthday! Jess is doing great and is excited to see his baby girl turn one! Briley continued to put her hands in the frosting and smear it onto her Mothers shirt. Such fun!

Thursday Update

Here is a pic of Jess playing the guitar at his parents place in Dillon a few months ago. Jess is looking forward to playing again as soon as his left arm heals. He is doing ok today, needs sleep prayers, support, and love, but he is still keeping that smile on his face! It is Briley's 1st birthday today so we are going to celebrate with cupcakes this afternoon. She is a joy to be around and keeps us all smiling in the waiting room. No new news on the where Jess will be doing his rehab, but we will keep you posted!

Jess and Friends

John, Eric, Nathan and Josh stopped by to chat with Jess and provide support and a few laughs.

Jess's Recovery

As of today, Jess has been moved from ICU to the Neuro floor. He is doing well and is on his way to recovery. Jess's left arm was damaged during the accident and with time the doctors said he would have full use of his arm. Jess severed his spinal cord at the T-11 level and is paralyzed from the waist down. Jess is determined that with research, support and faith, he will maximize his mobility. For right now, everyone is taking things one day at a time and reminding ourselves how lucky we are that he is here with us and is the same old Jess. He is cracking jokes and taking this entire situation in stride. His spirits are high and already one of the hospital's favorites patent's! Emliy and Briley are right there by his side and Emily is an inspiration to us all. They will be making a decision within the next few days whether to go to Denver or stay in Missoula for rehab. We will keep everyone updated. We can not thank the families, friends and community of Dillon enough, the amount of support and prayers has been unreal and makes us all really feel loved. We are asking that if anyone wants to send a message to Jess, go to the St. Patricks Hospital website and send an email to him. He is already asking to read them. We will keep everyone posted with new pictures and updates. The community of Dillon is in the process of planning a fundraiser for Jess, we will keep you posted!
