Since Briley and I had to move out of the apartment, we have been staying with Jess this weekend. We have been pleasantly surprised at how well it has been going. It's been 2 nights now and Briley has done better each night. I think the hardest part of staying here is making sure the floor is clean. Briley love to drag toys or anything for that matter all over the place. But anything on the ground is an obstacle for Jess to get around. So I'm going to have to get really good at constantly cleaning up, at least until Jess can lean over further and we can teach Briley to pick up after herself :)
Clay Martin, one of Jess' friends from Dillon, came by on Saturday. He had such a great time with him. It sure was nice to see a familiar face from home.
We did find out that the plan right now is for us to come back around December 31st or January 1st. Of coarse we know that "the plan" could change anytime, but it's nice to have a date to be able to look forward to.
We had another relaxing weekend, filled with laying around, watching football, and a little bit of shopping (Briley and I took the city bus to Ross and Walmart). It sure is nice that they give the patience the weekends off from rehab. I know by the end of the week Jess is ready for a day off.
This next week is even more full than last week. In addition to his regular classes he should have pool therapy again along with the FES bike, which is the electrical stimulation bike.

Greetings To The Dynamic Duo...
(Not that Briley isn't dynamic).
It sounds as though the weekend was a well deserved break!
I'll be praying that the FES biking goes well, and look forward to seeing photos of that and the pool!
Have a blessed week, and know that this old Rehab nurse continues to be amazed at how you are climbing this mountain.
Until He Comes,
Joan
PS - Saw Dee & Denny at the King's Way Christmas Choir Production this evening "Let Heaven & Nature Swing"...traditional Christmas songs - some secular and some classic carols/hymns...all done in Jazz renditions. It was an awesome production that Paul put together with SUCH a talented group... with...lots of folks were asking about you both, so...feel the LOVE!

Jess and family--I check your blog every week. Seem to me you are taking full advantage of all the help they can give you. I think of you often as I am now a full time Polarisite. Every time I look up at Maverik I send a prayer up and positive thought to you. I remember all the snow banks I pulled you out of when you where just a wee Maverik Rat. You will be there soon!! Keep on keeping on. Brenda
Hi, Guys! Christmas shopping . . . at a mall . . . you're in the big time now! I'm amazed at how much you two are doing already. Each day, a new challenge; each day, a new accomplishment. Amazing. I have an idea for Miss Briley: Outfit her with ShamWow kneepads and mittens and turn her loose on any floor. She'll stay relatively clean, and the floors will be the better for it! Speaking of ShamWow(s), I saw a huge display of them (boxes)--"As Seen on TV"--at Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Missoula on Saturday. Sunday, I went back to the store to pick up a new kitchen timer (my cat destroyed one I'd just bought 2 weeks ago by moving it around on the side of the fridge until he finally knocked it loose and onto the floor). As I was checking out, a woman frantically ran up to the cashier and asked where the ShamWow display was--she couldn't find it. The cashier said the store had sold out of the several hundred they'd stocked at the end of the week. I guess somebody knows something I don't know because they obviously were a hot item! But, if you can find some, strap them on Briley and turn her loose. Jess, we hope things continue to go well for you. PT is tough, I'm sure, so enjoy your weekends. We'll be glad to see you when you return to Dillon! Love and prayers, Wayne & Carolyn

It was so great to see you guys today!! I really wish that I wasn't in the middle of finals so that we could actually hang out. You have been here in Denver for a month now and I feel like I haven't seen you at all. What kind of friend am I?!? I hope you know that I am always thinking about you though. You seem to be doing so great and I am always impressed with the progress that you are making! I wish that I could see more of your rehab from the medical perspective! Maybe next year when you guys come back! Just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you!!!
Hey Jess, Hansen here, thinking about you many times daily. Can't imagine what you're going through. Your wife is georgeous and seems to have amazing energy in the pictures. It makes me smile seeing your beautiful daughter and knowing that she has a dad with such a great heart and personality. I miss you man. Anyway, your right tricep muscle looks has great tone and shape in the armbike pic, keep up the good work and progress! I will be in touch soon and just want you to know you've got love coming from Wisconsin! Hansen
Jess, Emily and Briley,
Looks like all of you have been very busy since I last wrote. Glad you had fun with all the Alberi's there for Thanksgiving-what a blessing that was. We had a good Thanksgiving with all of our family home-Tyler and Emily came from CA for the Griz-Cat game and then stayed in Dillon all of Thanksgiving week. They are busy planning their Oct. 09 wedding-we are very excited.
You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Keep up the hard work-it'll payoff and sometime soon you'll be back home in MT. We look forward to that day. God bless you all.
Rod and Judy Siring
Hey bro, I just wanted to let you know that I love you!
Give a hug to Briley Anna and Emily, and tell Jody I will see her soon as well. Keep building those muscles!
