After getting his best night of sleep so far, Jess started his day by going through lots of tests. He met all of of Drs and had pictures, xrays, cat scans, an MRI, and of course lots of pokes. But the highlight of his day was after all the test came back clear he was given the green light to get into his first wheelchair. We went through a tour of the hospital and Briley LOVED her ride on dad's lap!

Uncle Jess,
Hi, I hope you are feeling better.
-This is Sara
Jess - Don't go racing old guys around in your chair! Great to hear that you are accepted at Craig and you are on your way to recovery. You have a wonderful support group and if there is anything I can do way from Alaska let me know. I will continue to pray for you and think of you often.

Jess,
You might have to give up the Griz cap for a Bronco cap (even though they lost tonight)! There was a wonderful meeting in your honor tonight --- I am sure you will get all the details. Lindsey did a great job and we all appreciated her report. I was so impressed with the number of folks that want to be on your team! Loved the picture with Briley sitting in her dad's lap --- the "chair pusher" looked rested and proud! Stay strong! Carol D
Nice socks, lol. Oh, and you look good too. Lots of loves.
Praise the Lord that the tests from today came back clear and Jess was able to get in a wheel chair and take Briley for a ride:) I thought of you all today driving down the rode listening to K-Love. A song titled You Never Let Go by Matt Redman was playing and it reminded me of you all and the positive attitude and the amazing faith you all are keeping during this time. Thank you for the updates. Oh, and Emily one of these days we are gonna have to get Jacob and Briley together to meet. Take care and I will keep you in thought and prayer. ~Marsha~

Dear Jess, Emily and Briley,
What a good-looking family you have - all smiles all of the time. Jess, you look amazing!! I'm sure that it's been a little overwhelming getting all settled into Craig but by the looks of it, none of it has phased you a bit. I'm sure that you are already the most popular guy on campus and have all of the staff fighting over you:)! You are always in our thoughts and prayers. Lean on eachother and never loose faith.
Love you all,
Alli

Jess and Emily...I check this site daily because I love seeing how positive and brave you all are. It is an inspiration in my life like never before. You look fantastic...all of you. I am so proud of your family and the strength and courage you share with everyone that you know. Brock wants to race you someday...he sure adores you! I hate that I did not see you before you left but I am so happy that so many friends and family were able to send you with lots of love and hugs. You make everyone here proud and we all love you very much. I love this picture...a picture of love, inspiration, bravery, courage, change, hope, positive attitudes, family, strength, and so much more. Still stunning, all of you...just thinking of you everyday. Hugs to you all. Love you, Hill

The meeting last night went great-you would have been very proud of Linds as the family rep.:)
Stay strong and know that we are all thinking of you guys. God's blessings-Rod and Judy Siring
FABULOUS! Looks like you are already making great strides. I am so excited for your time at Craig I know you will do well (and probably catch a couple great sporting events!). I know those tests can be horrible (especially the ASIA, I hate having to do that on my patients) but good to know they were all good. I am checking on your progress daily (part of my morning routine) and will definitely make a trip to Dillon to see you when you are home!
Hugs,
Dorcey
What a stunning family! AMAZING!! You all inspire me!

Hey Emily, Jesse and Baby Briley,
I just heard about what happened from a customer at the coffee shop, and wanted to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. From the blogs, it looks like you're all doing very well and have plenty of support from family and friends. I know that you are both very strong and optimistic, and that can be the best medicine for recovery :)
By the way, Briley is absolutly beautiful, you are both blessed.
Stay Strong!

Hello Jess and Emily,
Just wanted to let you know that we prayed for you yesterday at men's Prayer Breakfast. Denny filled us in on the latest.
Gee, you will be developing some incredible arm strength. Did I ever mention that Aaron beat me in arm wrestling last summer - both arms!!!! Not good to be approaching 50 years old.
Aaron turned 22 last week - yikes. Beat you'd hardly recognize Ben or Mali either. Mali is a looker!! Ben is playing varsity hockey as a sophomore - something that neither of his brothers did.
Enjoy your daughter now - kids grow up WAY TOO FAST.
Praying for you BRO.
David
Hey Jess,
Nice "ride", but don't be trying any wheelies with that cute little bundle in your lap. Your daily blog has become my favorite show. I look forward to seeing your progress and with all of the many things that you will be confronting during your stay at Craig. I can only imagine the challenges that you will be encountering. I know that you and Emily will "cowboy up" and and stay ahead of the curve. Keep up the hard work and Janell and I will anxiously await the reports on your success.
Love'ya Man,
Jim
Jess,
I'm sooooo glad you were accepted to Craig. We have sent many patients down there and it's the best rehab hopital in the northwest. If I can be of any help always feel free to contact me. Keep working your ass off!
God Speed Jess.
