Friday night my sister Holly and I were able to go out to dinner with our Uncle Dale and his wife Lois. It was a great surprise to be able to see them and catch up on the last couple of years, as well eat a delicious meal.
Saturday Jess was cleared to leave the floor, so we took him out to a little garden outside and spent at least a couple of hours enjoying the sun and fresh air. It was the first time since we were in Montana that Jess had been able to get outside. Briley loved crawling around in the dirt!
Jess' Uncle Mike from Maine flew in on Saturday. We had such a great time catching up with him. When Mike was 26 he lost his leg in an accident, so he could really relate to Jess' situation and had a lot of good advice for him.
Today was the first time Jess was able to come over to the apartment Briley and I are staying at. We spent the morning hanging out and watching football. Later on, Jess came back to the center and one of the nurses gave him a much needed hair cut. He watched some more football while Holly, Briley and I spent some time together at the apartment.
Hi everyone this is Jess. I have some very exciting news to all of you that have been praying for me. I belive that God has begun a work in my body, for I now have sensations shooting down my legs. The best way I can describe this feeling, it is like the tingling feeling you get when your foot is falling asleep. So please continue to pray, for I truely believe that God is doing something amazing.

PRAISE THE LORD for His good works to the children of men!! We are rejoicing with you in the healing process which the Lord has started in your body. Philippians 1:6 says. "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will be faithful to complete it..." A great book to read is the book of Acts in the Bible, which is a record of the many miracles which took place after Jesus ascended into heaven, and continues today. What a faith builder!! Hey, it's great to see the picture of you girls with Uncle Dale and Lois. What smiles on all of your faces, Emily, Holly and Briley. AND the pic with Briley in the sink is a real keeper!! Have a wonderful start to a brand new week filled with the promises of God from His Word. Everyone is praying for you for a total healing. Keep the faith!! Love Mom, Dad and Jesse
What An Awesome Father He Is!!! Praise His Holy Name...
Jess, I shared in a visit with Dee at the Morse's this evening. She stopped by shortly after you shared your "tingle" news, and after stopping by King's Way to give a testimony & ask for continued prayer.
What a joyful visit, and brief time of prayer. What an uplifting time sharing the Word and encouragement it was!
SO much has transpired for you all in these few short weeks, and it's just the beginning of the "Praise The Lord" events that will continue.
Briley's love of the water is so evident in the sink/bath shots. The spike hair do in this weekend's bath makes an awesome shot to use as a bribe when she's a teen :)!
Some evening this coming week don't be shocked to get a call from me. I'll test out my new Magic Jack, and look forward to hearing your voice, and praying with you "live" via cyber/phone.
I'm grinning from ear to ear seeing the pics of you! Great to see the water bottle close at hand...and here's a rehab nurse "nag"...I hope with all the excitement of being outdoors and in the apartment you were able to keep up with your pressure releases... I know there's alot to remember, but I'm certain you will get a PhD - Craig style.
Love, Until He Comes,
Joan
Thank the Lord for the work he's doing in your body Jess!! Our pastor spoke on thankfullness Sunday and how Jesus thanked his father in heaven BEFORE the miracle of the multiplication of the bread and fish to feed the multitudes. It was interesting to remember that Jesus thanked his father for the little that was brought to him and then the miracle took place. WOW!!
Emily~ boy, I wish I could be there with my two sisters. It's great to see you were able to see Uncle Dale.
Makayla and Andrew say hi to all of you.
Keep looking up! Your source of strength and peace is always with you.
Your Sis, Kari
Yes, I had heard. Dee came over to our house last night to tell us the great new. Like hundreds of others, perhaps thousands, we are praying for a continued and COMPLETE healing. GOD is a WONDERFUL God, loving and compassion to all who HE has made. Or is this case, is REMAKING.

We are PRAYING!!
DAVO AND FAMILY
Jess, That is soooo amazing, you gave me the chills!! You will never cease to amaze me. So nice that you have had so many family and friends to be there with you. I finally sent out your package today. Lots of goodies from a collective of your peeps. Keep the good news coming. We miss you. Kate
Jess- At the time of your accident we were in Wisconsin for David to have a hip resurfacing in lieu of hip replacement. We were put thru just a small amount of physical therapy compared to what you have. It is amazing how fast your body heals and you learn to do things. Your daughter is beautiful (as is your wife)and you are still as cute as you used to be! Keep up the good work and we think about you often. I love your blog site and read it frequently. I just figured out how to send a message!!! Looking forward to your returning to Montana! -Shelli Schuett
Praise be to God!!! What A Savior we have. I have to tell you Jess since the 1st day of the news about your accident Ronnie has been praying for tingling in your toes. I was so amazed that I sat here in my office and cryed, just to think that I didn't have the faith like Ronnie to believe in this kind of miracle. We will continue to pray and be praising God for the great work he is doing in your body. We are excited to see what happens next. Love, Ronnie & Julie Allen
Praise God! We are so thrilled to hear this exciting news. Thank you for sharing your lives with us and so many other people. God is using you as a testimony of his mercy, grace, love and power! We continue to have you in our thoughts and prayers each day. God is good and He loves you!

Jess, God truly does work in ways we never expect until we are the recipient of His good works. I believe in prayer, and I believe in miracles. When you add those to your own spirit and determination, you have an unbeatable combination. Have faith--keep those candles of faith and hope lit in moments of darkness. We will not miss a day of praying for you in the morning and in the evening. Emily and Briley--hugs and kisses to you gals. What a great inspiration you both are to Jess. Love, Carolyn and Wayne

Dear Jess, my friend, I have prayed everyday for you to be blessed with God's hands of healing, I know HE can heal you and give you strength as well as your family. Briley is beautiful! When I first told Jacob and Kayla about your ordeal, Kayla shed many tears. I also believe Jacob was choked up at first when I told him in person. I assured both of them that if they pray for you, God will strengthen and even heal you. God does and will answer prayer Jess, ask HIM to heal you brother, HE will. Jess you can remember that I am visually & heairng impaired, and my life is never completely easy. But I ask for healing all the time, and God does provide it in many ways. Trish came home Sunday night very excited because Dee had mention at a women's service that you had feeling in you your upper legs, praise God! We sure do miss seeing you all here in Eagle River, and I am positive that many, many people are praying for you. Jess, I have been teaching special needs students for 13 years now and it inspires me to work with these kids, from a wide range of handicaps. But, I pray for them all, for healing and strength and wisdom. By the way, Chase turns 18 next Thursday and oh yeah my birthday was last Saturday, I turned 41, so I am your senior, and I am asking you brother to concentrate, put God first and HE will be with you and heal you, never lose sight of what HE means in your life. From what I understand, you are already blessed by God to be with us today, for that alone I thank Jesus. I have been reading your Blog and progress that Emily keeps telling us about. I am so proud of you brother. I wish Colorado wasn't so far away from us, I would definitely come see you and encourage you. Keep working hard Jess, we will continue our prayerfulness for you and your family. John, Trish, Jacob, Kayla, Marina & Chase
Jess!!!! Hey man I am so excited for you and the amazing things that God is doing in you life. I've been praying for you alot and I am so glad to see such an awesome miracle taking place in your life right now. Everyone I know has been praying for you and what can I say, Our God has no boundries and no limits and I believe you are going to be a walking testimony of this. God Bless and I will definitely keep on praying for you!
Jess--I am so excited for you and your family. I am sending positive thoughts to you a thousand times over/my friend Dee Brothers stopped by to see me yesterday and I never ever thought I would see her again. It makes tears stream down my face to know how lucky I am to be blessed with such strong friends. You just put your mind and body to work because both are such amazing things. Jess you are a fighter and will not be stopped. I will share some words which always bring a smile to my lips. Yesterday is history- Tomorrow a mystery- Today is a gift that is why we call it the present. Keep on keeping on. Love to all, Brenda Borjas
Wow, Jess, what a beautiful sister-in-law you have! Seriously, I'm really glad to hear that your progressing so well. Keep praying like its totally up to God and working like its totally up to you. -Chris
I too praise God for the work he is doing in your life Jess. I want you to know that the day Joshua told me about your accident (The morning you were taken to Barrett Memorial) and I began to pray for you I was filled with a strong confidence about you and your life, I believe God is going to do a might work in you and that it will be a major influence to your friends in Dillon and this community. Modern medicine is limited by not our God!!! You, Emily and Briley are a blessing to everyone who knows you! Keeping you in my prayers and joining you in praising our Lord and Saviour,
Red Clinton
Hey, Jess and Emily
Zechariah 4:10 says, "For who hath despised the day of small things?"
Little tingles can turn into much bigger things!
Here are more "little things."
Psalm 56:8 "...put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?"
Oh, how he cares and pays attention!
Psalm 37:1 "...none of his steps shall slide."
He's got each step of your way mapped out and covered.
and Psalm 139:2 "Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising..."
Every aspect for you, he has planned for and is executing at the exactly right time. You can have total confidence and trust in his managing of your days and times.
An old, comforting, Christian hymn, by Civilla D. Martin--
Be not dismayed whate'er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath his wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.
No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon his breast,
God will take care of you.
GOD will take care of you,
Through every day, o'er all the way.
He WILL take care of you.
GOD will take CARE of YOU!
It's a delicate balance of resting in him and reaching for him at the same time.
Journey well! Journey far!
Love, from the Drebert household.
Hey Jess,
I just wanted to write a quick note to let you know that i have been thinking about you every day since i heard the news. There is one thing that i do know about you buddy, and that is if there is anyone strong enough to prove that miracles do happen, it is you. It is overwhelming to see the amount of support that you have in this community and we all look forward to seeing you. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers my friend. Take care.
Clay Martin
Jess,
I know I said it before, but if anyone can pull through this it is you my friend...keep your mind strong, your loved ones close, and your faith as unwavering as its ever been, and God will work miracles...it happens everyday.
I hope you know me and all of us out here think about you everyday, and constantly talk to God and ask him to take good care of you, Emily and little Briley. Glad you got to spend time with your Uncle Mike, Im sure his life experiences and wisdoms were a big help and motivator for you. I believe in you Jessie, keep up the great work.
Love and Prayers,
Andrew
Hello Jess. We looked through all of your pictures and read through the postings and am happy to see that things are coming along so well. We have kept you and your family in my thoughts and prayers and continue to pray for a speedy recovery. Take care.

Hey there! Well i don't have to tell you how excited we are for you Jess. i was with Trisha at church on Sun eve when Dee stood up and shared your EXCITING news! Dee might have already told you this. But anyway when i got home from church that night i couldn't wait to tell Joe. So i hurried in and when i started telling him that Dee stood up at church he put his hands over his ears and said....Don't tell me. Well as i continued on and finished the story he says "NO WAY" are you serious (as i'm nodding my my head up & down).....he says because during the morning service when Pastor Jack was praying for you guys he said that he felt the Lord telling him "Jesse's toes are going to begin tingling"! So i said your kidding! Why didn't you say something earlier and he said he just didn't feel comfortable saying anything. Well the first thing i thought of was we have to call Dee and tell her so i did.
So a BIG PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!! And yes Carol Drebert is right "Little tingles can turn into much bigger things!"
You just keep keepin on Jess and keep putting your trust in "Our GOD the GOD that HEALTH THEE" cause He has some definite plans for you!!!!
Love
cindy, joe mtz & fam.
